Our Team

Charity Jolito is the head Veterinary Technician at Vet Practice, having joined the clinic at its inception in 2004. She has a DVM degree from the De La Salle Araneta University in the Philippines.  She’s been working with small animals since she graduated in 2000. Charity has soft spots for Dachshunds and Frenchies. She recently adopted Cookie an English Bulldog. She has an only daughter and love spending her time with her on her off day.  She likes reading and watching movies/TV series on her free time.

Debbie has been with the Vet Practice team as a receptionist since 2009. She graduated from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) with a Nitec in Office Skills, a Higher Nitec in Business E-commerce and Multimedia and a Certificate of Merit (COM). Although her studies in ITE were non-animal related, she had always wanted to work with animals. Debbie has now taken on the role of Administration Manager in the Vet Practice. She has a keen interest in avian health and husbandry. Her favourite dog breeds are Schnauzers and Alaskan Malamutes. She has 4 lovable dogs and 2 talkative parrots for company. She spends her off days grooming her dogs and bringing her parrots out to enjoy the sun and breeze. Debbie’s hobbies include watching movies and drama series, shopping, playing computer games, and singing karaoke. She also enjoys reading articles related to information technology.

Emilie graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Veterinary Bioscience and joined Vet Practice to further experience the veterinary industry. She is currently taking a gap year to explore and widen her interests before she continues to further her studies next year. Since young, Emilie had always been fond and interested in animals and hope to do something in the future related to animals. During her free time, she can be found watching Korean dramas and variety shows and learning dance choreographies. 

Jayson Villanueva has been with Vet Practice since 2010. He graduated with a DVM degree from De La Salle Araneta University in the Philippines. Jayson enjoys working with animals, and helping them get back on track in their health is something he finds extremely rewarding. He is passionate about making a difference in providing excellent and compassionate care for animals. During his free time, Jayson enjoys playing Badminton, watching tennis matches and enjoys Korean movies and dramas.

Jody graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a diploma in Veterinary Bioscience. She is currently taking a gap year to gain work experience at Vet Practice while exploring different courses to pursue in university next year . She has been interested in exotic animals such as rabbits and reptiles . Her other interests are spending time watching Netflix shows, playing games and spending time with her bunny.

Lashine Thiagu joined Vet Practice as a vet nurse in June 2017. She graduated from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak with a degree in Zoology. She worked in a vet hospital in Malaysia for a short term  before joining the team. Her passion towards animals especially wildlife since at a young age made her to be a vegetarian. For Lashine, being a vet nurse is not only about treating the pets to achieve the best of their health, but also giving a quality care and love towards the animals. Apart from work, she loves to do adventurous activities such a jungle trekking and mount climbing. She prefers to be away from the city life when it comes to going on holidays. During her free times, she loves listening to music and watching shows. Lashine hopes to continue learning the ins an outs of this field where she feels she belongs.

Luna started her career as a veterinary nurse in 2014 but her love and compassion for animals started since she was a young girl. Today, she takes great pride in caring for animals and seeing them get better drives her. Hence, Luna is pursuing her Cert IV in Animal Nursing to further improve her practical and technical skills to help animals in need. Besides that, she’s also taken a deep interest in complementary therapies and have the desire to explore the field of holistic wellness for both humans and animals. Otherwise, in her spare time, Luna can either be found volunteering at a shelter or caught reading, travelling, practicing yoga and spending time with her 3 cats.

Michael has been with Vet Practice since 2005, although he took a break for a year to further his experience and skills. He has special interests in animal training and behavior, dancing and is a bodybuilding enthusiast. Michael has participated in various dancing and bodybuilding competition and won many awards.

Susie started her veterinary technician career in Maryland, United States, where she earned her Associate of Science Degree in May 2013. She then became Maryland Registered Veterinary Technician in September 2013. She also has her BA (Hons) in International Business from University of East Landon. In her spare time, Susie enjoys traveling, outdoors, eating gourmet food and me time.
