Our Team

As one of the founding members of Vet Practice , Dr Daphne Ang has been in practice since 1995 when she graduated from Murdoch University. Upon graduation, she practiced for 9 years at a small animal veterinary clinic before leaving to set up Vet Practice in 2004. Her vision is to, together with her team and working closely with pet owners ,provide caring, professional, quality care  to all patients brought to the clinic.

Dr Ang believes strongly in continuing professional education and strives to keep abreast of the latest in veterinary medicine. She has completed distance education courses in diagnostic imaging , ultrasonography and surgery . She constantly upgrades herself by attending conferences , courses and workshops both locally as well as overseas. Dr Ang’s special interests include small animal medicine and surgery and all things small (pocket pets, rabbits and avian).Dr Ang is well versed in performing artificial insemination for dogs trying to get pregnant. She  is an avid lover of German Shepherds and parrots.

She is the proud mummy to her long- haired German Shepherd ‘Kira’ and the ever mischievous Australian Cockatiel ‘Sky’ who croons to her daily.

Dr Felicia Lu graduated from Murdoch University (Australia) in 2006 with a Bachelors degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS). She worked in a small animal private practice in Perth, Western Australia, before joining the Vet Practice. Her main veterinary interests include surgery, acupuncture and traditional Chinese veterinary medicine.

Dr Lu became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) with the Chi Institute (USA) in 2013, and has been offering her patients acupuncture as a complementary treatment to standard Western veterinary medicine and surgery. More recently, Dr Lu has also been obtaining further training in orthopedic surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys going on long nature walks and also loves immersing herself in television’s alternate worlds.

Dr Ng Boon Jun graduated from Massey University, New Zealand and has been working in Singapore ever since. He always had a strong interest in exotic animals since a very young age and has volunteered in a variety of wildlife centers. During his years of study, Dr Ng was intrigued by complementary medicine and will be likely to venture into it in the near future. His height would be a waste if he was not such an avid basketball player outside of work. On his off days he enjoys playing computer games and catching up on shows.

Dr Sophia Ke graduated from The University of Melbourne, and stayed on to practice in Melbourne for another 5 years in a small animal clinic. She moved home to Singapore in 2019 after having her first child, and of course her fur babies had to make the journey too!

Dr Ke has a strong interest in feline medicine and internal medicine. She believes that a good vet- owner bond is paramount for good communication and improved patient care, so she looks forward to meeting and getting all our beloved clients and patients.

Out of work, she can be found chasing after her children (both of the human and feline variety), tending to her growing houseplant collection, or baking in the kitchen.
