Our Team

Cherie graduated from Republic Polytechnic with a Diploma in Biomedical Science. Her strong interest in veterinary has brought her to where she is working as an veterinary nurse now. She find great joy when patients restored to health and she also has a soft spot for small animals, particularly rabbits just like her own bunnies, ‘ Muffin’ and ‘ Mochi’.

Debbie has been with the Vet Practice team as a receptionist since 2009. She graduated from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) with a Nitec in Office Skills, a Higher Nitec in Business E-commerce and Multimedia and a Certificate of Merit (COM). Although her studies in ITE were non-animal related, she had always wanted to work with animals. Debbie has now taken on the role of Administration Manager in the Vet Practice. She has a keen interest in avian health and husbandry. Her favourite dog breeds are Schnauzers and Alaskan Malamutes. She has 4 lovable dogs and 2 talkative parrots for company. She spends her off days grooming her dogs and bringing her parrots out to enjoy the sun and breeze. Debbie’s hobbies include watching movies and drama series, shopping, playing computer games, and singing karaoke. She also enjoys reading articles related to information technology.

Jayson Villanueva has been with Vet Practice since 2010. He graduated with a DVM degree from De La Salle Araneta University in the Philippines. Jayson enjoys working with animals, and helping them get back on track in their health is something he finds extremely rewarding. He is passionate about making a difference in providing excellent and compassionate care for animals. During his free time, Jayson enjoys playing Badminton, watching tennis matches and enjoys Korean movies and dramas.

Jocelyn graduated with a Diploma in Veterinary Bioscience from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and is currently taking a gap year before pursuing further education relating to healthsciences. She loves spending time with her two dogs, a yorkshire terrier and a pomeranian, on her off days as well as catch up on the latest drops on Netflix. 

Michael has been with Vet Practice since 2005, although he took a break for a year to further his experience and skills. He has special interests in animal training and behavior, dancing and is a bodybuilding enthusiast. Michael has participated in various dancing and bodybuilding competition and won many awards.

Susie started her veterinary technician career in Maryland, United States, where she earned her Associate of Science Degree in May 2013. She then became Maryland Registered Veterinary Technician in September 2013. She also has her BA (Hons) in International Business from University of East Landon. In her spare time, Susie enjoys traveling, outdoors, eating gourmet food and me time.

Thanu has been working in the veterinary industry since 2021 in both Malaysia and Singapore, while undertaking the Pet Care Assistant course at Temasek Polytechnic. Growing up with lots of large breed dogs and horses has cultivated her love of animals and her decision to pursue a career in the veterinary industry. Her life now revolves around her 3 Huskies and 5 American Bullies. She spends her free time horse riding, walking and playing fetch with her dogs, playing video games, and lifting weights at the gym.
